Heather is a licensed trainer and lifelong racing fan. In addition to covering the sport on live national broadcasts and PA HarnessWeek, she also produces and hosts Delaware’s award-winning weekly Post Time television show. She is the third generation of her family to be actively involved in harness racing.
An award-winning broadcaster, sports marketing executive, voiceover talent and producer, Steve brings over three decades of experience to his role on PA HarnessWeek. He has worked at Garden State Park and Philadelphia Park and served as track announcer at Liberty Bell Park and Freestate Raceway. Currently, he also co-hosts “Remember When” with former Philadelphia Eagles General Manager, Jim Murray, on WPHT Philadelphia.
Bruce has worked in television since 1980. He is a former national thoroughbred racing host and producer for ESPN. A two-time Emmy Award winning producer and on-air talent, he finished second for a national Eclipse Award for his documentary about Smarty Jones. One of racing’s most ardent fans and most recognized personalities, he has reported some of the biggest stories in racing history.
Sharla spent the last three years as sports anchor for the ABC affiliate in Scranton where she reported on, among many other things, harness racing at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, she studied sports broadcasting at the University of Georgia. After working briefly as a journalist there and in her home state, she made her way to Pennsylvania, where she’ll cover the story behind the scenes at Mohegan Sun and Harrah’s Philadelphia for PA HarnessWeek.
